Unit conversion is where a great many calculation errors begin, and the step most often done in someone's head. These converters cover the measures pharmacy practice actually uses: household and apothecary volumes, avoirdupois and apothecary weights, height in inches or centimetres, Fahrenheit and Celsius, and the milliequivalent-to-millimole relationship that depends on the ion's valence. Where practice convention differs from the exact SI value — 1 fluid ounce as 30 mL, 1 grain as 65 mg — the difference is shown rather than hidden.
